1-Piso General Artemio Ricarte 150th Birth Anniversary

Artemio Ricarte was a teacher-turned-general during the revolutionary period. He was appointed as Captain General of the revolutionary Philippine Army and considered as the “Father” of the current Philippine Army. The 1-piso commemorative coin of Gen. Artemio Ricarte celebrates the 150th birth anniversary of the hero in 2016. The coin is nickel-plated steel encased in blister pack with envelope.
