Obverse
At the center is a performer in traditional attire holding a basket of durian, mangosteen, marang, and pomelo, rendered in sculpted and colorized detail. The design symbolizes the Kadayawan Festival’s celebration of life, bountiful harvest, and appreciation to Davao City’s rich natural resources and cultural heritage.

- Durian icon from the reverse design, representing one of Davao City’s agricultural products
- Patterns on the border representing eleven ethno-linguistic tribes of Davao
- Waling-waling (colorized) featuring an orchid endemic to the Philippines
- Mount Apo and Philippine Eagle engraved at the background

Reverse
The symbols and elements of the twelve Philippine festivals are incorporated on the reverse side to create a festive pattern that forms a giant lantern to represent the symbol of the 12th festival.
