The design highlights the vibrant culture and craftsmanship celebrated during the T’nalak Festival, with the intricately woven textile prominently featured beside the performer.

Design elements

  • T’nalak pattern icon — A T’nalak-inspired icon taken from the reverse design, symbolizing the traditional woven textile that serves as the festival’s centerpiece.
  • T’nalak pattern on the border — The border incorporates motifs inspired by the geometric patterns found in authentic T’nalak weaving.
  • Diamond design (7) on the border — the number of diamonds per coin matches the month’s number
  • Ethnic pattern / banderitas (texture effect)
  • Microlettering — the coin includes microlettering that reads “T’NALAK KORONADAL CITY”

Reverse
The symbols and elements of the twelve Philippine festivals are incorporated on the reverse side to create a festive pattern that forms a giant lantern to represent the symbol of the 12th festival.
